I have the notorious 6s and it will reverse and go forward, but I can’t turn. When I try to turn the car with it does the start up sequence again? Don’t know how to fix.

Is there some kind of sequence I have to go through to get my remote to work properly

How long have you had the car? The servo could have went.

Have you done anything to it other than run it? If not, get to the receiver and unplug the ESC, then turn on the radio, then the car, and see if the steering works then. If not, unplug the steering servo and plug it into CH1 on the receiver and see if it moves using the throttle control. If neither of those tests make the steering work, more than likely the servo is dead. Most RTR vehicles use cheap servos, and they tend to fail rather easily. I have seen Arrma servos die within a day or two. If it is dead, get ahold of Horizon hobby and get a warranty replacement, or look on ebay for one of the cheap $20 20KG servo: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof...f89b606bcec|ampid:PL_CLK|clp:2334524&LH_BIN=1 or a 25KG servo: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof...23b0491dfed|ampid:PL_CLK|clp:2334524&LH_BIN=1 If yours is the 23T servo, you will also need a 25T servo saver: https://www.horizonhobby.com/product/servo-saver-set-25t/ARAC8883.html from Horizon Hobby for the new servo, unless you find a 23T metal gear servo, but those tend to be expensive.

Tjats exactly what I did and I did need a new servo died after 2 light bashings. As soon as I switched it it was perfect again. Wish I would have known all that when it happened though..

Also very easy to brick them if end points were not set properly

I have heard others say that, which just makes me think im lucky. I have never set end points on anything, and i have never damaged a servo by not doing it, at least, not yet. Mine always end up getting ruined because i tend to run my trucks in almost every condition, then don't bother doing an extreme cleaning, and ill lose one about once a year on average. All of mine are the cheap $15-$20 eBay ones, so that probably doesn't help.
