Can the castle 1520 be ran on the Mamba Monster x 6s?

Hello all,

I was wondering if the Castle 1520 would work with the mamba monster x 6s esc. I know castle recommends their 8s esc for this motor, but I am only planning on running 6s, and I have already ran a larger 4092 6s motor on that esc which turned out fine.

The reason I ask is because I can get the 1520 for really cheap, around $120 just because of Castle's Tier Two Warranty, and I figured it would be a pretty nice option if it could work with my Mamba Monster X 6s

Kind of depends on the vehicle (weight), gearing, tires, terrain, ambient temps, supplemental cooling (fans) etc. can’t really give you a blanket thumbs up / thumbs down.

well, I am creating a really overpowered 3s big rock which I am converting to 6s. i know I could just go with the 6s line, but I really just want ludicrous power. I would be gearing for 60mph and the ambient temps here in PA are around 85 in the summer. TIres are also stock, so nothing too heavy
