Castle 1717 1260kv for infraction v2

I recently purchased 1717 1260kv motor and mmxs esc to run in my infraction something tells me motor might be wrong.
if not let me know how I
Should gear it or if it would work !?
I don’t want to deal with returns and waiting so any help on this would be great
1650 was sold out every where!!!

What spur gear you have?
I started with a 20t pinion on my typhon 1250 8s then moved up 23 25 now 29 with 46spur

Checked temps each pinion change

46t spur is good. I have the pps motor mount I can run 34t pinion never installed it 29t was fast me right now

yeah me too I have the PPS set up with e-brake because I’m doing semi aluminum build ,so it’s only right to put the PPS in there, but I was worried about the motor have to much torque and not enough top end speed .
I’m a basher either way but I like running it once in a while make sure it’s running right .so
PPS motor mount
1260 kv castle
Mmxs esc
2 100c 5000 smart batteries spektrum
Arrma heat sink don’t know if it’s going to fit the motor to many parts
E-brake
An stock servos for now but I’ll be upgrading at some point so
46 diff or spur
27-33 pinion
And probably game changer fans

The 1260 should be fine. It will just need a larger pinion or a smaller spur to make up for the lost RPMs
