Vorteks Conversion into a granite mt

I do believe they are the same chassis! So with a few part changes it could be!

I was toying with converting mine, but pulled back.
Figured by the time I'd spend $90 - wheels/tires, $7 - body mount, $43 - body, $4 - pinion gear, not sure if spur gear is different, I'd be at $144.
A few bucks more, I have a Granite and a Vorteks...

Wait until you need to replace your body and tires. Those are the two big ticket items and eventually you will need new ones.

Btw, you can get some bad ass mounted tires from pro-line for $70 a set. Certainly don't go spending 90 on some dboots and the garbage wheels they come on.

I’m thinking about going the other way and converting my Granite into a Vorteks, funny enough.
