About to put thicker diff lube in center diff. Do I need to shim or was this addressed on new v3 version. If so what diff shims do I need?

New? i don't think so, after many (many) runs - try to shim and see if it don't bind.

I just tried to shim the back diff of my Typhon (which had only 20 runs on it) and it was clearly noisy and notchy. i had to re-open it and remove the shims.

I'll try again after 20-30 more runs.

you don't need to but the amount of work to clean them vs doing now is worth it....That was my point.... you really don't "need" too for a while but clean diff oil is 10x easier to deal with... just my 2 cents...

I agree but i did my notorious after 3 months and the talion the day i got it and i spent like an hr doing talion and prob 3 doing notorious.
