EC3 connector is related with different voltage in most of cases. I am going to visit local RC shop with upgrade advice. The 8,4V battery is starter bullshit....
LHS should be able to solder on any connector you would need.

If it makes you feel any better my first rc car came with a 900mah 7.2v 6 cell nimh the stock charger charged it in 9 hours...............

The engine seems real trash according to reviews - https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/mega-550-12t-brushed-motor/ARAG1005.html#yotpo-reviews-clicked :/. Anyway, I will torture it under warranty!

2S battery works good when I will use EC3 connectors.....
"easy motor recognition - Capable of running on 6-7 cell NiMh or 2S LiPo battery for great flexibility to suit your needs"
Most rtr brushed motors are trash and a 540 can brushed motor was never meant to push anything the size of the Arrma 4x4s, they are just too small for the application imho. This is why so many recommend a brushless upgrade.

Local guy recommends 2WD for good learning of RC driving hence I would like to keep it ... eventually is option with 2WD brushless engine with Arrma Senton?
