Yes. The BLX 120 can run 3S or 4S. But I think you should also upgrade to the 2400kv motor as well if you ever intend on running 4S

You should be ok to run 2S. The motor you run will determine the speed.
BLX120 is 4S max.

I run a Monster X with the 2200kv on 2S when I let kids try out my RC. Sometimes I even slow it down more with the transmitter, depending on who’s driving.

Here is what Arrma says on their website for the BLX120 based 4S Kraton. I will charge up a 2S and give it a try. I’ve never tried it.

I believe we did figure out the BLX120 will not run on 2S. But IIRC, the BLX185 will ??‍
