The Typhon gets run many times on damp dirt surfaces having inner wheel pack up with heavy mud.
When on OEM carriers / spindles always had a set fitted. Once installing the wider HR Kraton spec parts have been w/o.
So using some flexible plastic cut out a rough matched pair then finish shaped on the 1" belt sander.
Sadly only the rear HR carriers have mounting taps, fronts don't

Nice idea!

What do you mean?
Couldn't you just mount what you fabricated on the front flange of the steering blocks?

NO worries!

Just use the one's that's there HR for the steering flange-arm.. Just tuck your DIY Mud Wipers in between the flange-arm and steering block tab.
You may need slightly longer screws.. But should work the same.

The softer plastic material of the wiper I worry about yielding some to the crush and having steering arms working loose ?

Then definitely use longer screws..
To securely mount the flange-arms normally (don't forget to use some Blue Loctite) ,and use the protruding end of those screws to mount your mud wipes.
You'll probably need to use nuts to secure the wipes from underneath.

Ok, using thinner and harder "Lexan" made 2 more for the front being placed UNDER the steering arms.
* BTW all mounting points on the HR Kraton hubs were Identical. So make 1 master sized to fit, sandwich 3 more over size pieces under it having screw holes pre-drilled so ALL 4 are screw aligned, Then shape the 3 under the master on a small belt sander your done !! 4 that fit like your first :p
