firma 150a issues

hey guys thought I post here before throwing money at the Mojave to get some ideas on what's going on.

esc powers up does not show any lights or blink codes no chime at all, receiver binds to transmitter, servo responds but no power to motor. I unplugged the motor to see if anything would change in the esc with no luck.
Before this happened I was having throttle and brake delay issues where there would be a noticeable delay when trying to brake or throttle up from a stop.

I think I know the issue but I just want to hear some other peoples opinion on this just to possibly factor anything out before dropping some money in it.

Sounds like the ESC is done, do you have another ESC you can try to be sure?

On the Firma 150's I like to turn the timing down to 0 degrees right out of the box, the factory setting is quite aggressive.

do you have a spare motor laying around to test the esc with? I've noticed the solder joints to the banana plugs for the motors like to get HOT on the spektrum stuff.
