Tower has the Futaba 4PLS on sale for $175, so I just picked one up with the LiFe battery for $180 after coupon for anyone interested.

Anyway my question is for anyone who has this radio. Looks like I can charge the pack right in the radio? And I can literally just go out and buy up to 40 receivers and use this one radio for all my cars? I know not at the same time.

My wife will be thrilled when all the radios disappear

Congrats on the 4PLS. I love mine! I don't think you can charge the pack in the transmitter since the same connector used to charge is the one that connects to the transmitter. But it's easy enough to do and the charge lasts me a long time.

Thanks, you run the one radio with multiple receivers?

I'm still living in the I have 57 ATX 100 radios lying around all labeled for different cars

I run about 4 trucks on it. Make sure you read the manual unlike I did on how to adjust to the next truck or you'll have to keep rebinding but it's easy to program once you've done it once. And a great radio!
