Like I said before I’ve been in the hobby about a year, and finally I’ve managed to break down my rigs for maintenance.
please I need to to know how to get the old gRease out with out damaging anything.
any tips would be greatly appreciate it.
I just don’t know how to properly do maintenance on differentials pics below to the point I’m at.

Second this. Naphtha makes short work of silicone oil and evaporates quickly.

I used mineral spirits, gently shook, rinsed then dried.
Mineral spirits like alcoholics?
Canadian Tire...but I doubt you have these in New York! 😉 I guess REI, Walmart, etc should have that in the US.
What’s the intended purpose of it so I can maybe find it or link thanks 🙏

lol I just turned it upside down on a paper towel for an hr or 2 and then like 85% of the old stuff is out and I just refill it. Was also my first time. Maybe next time I'll try the cleaner I bought. =D
 
Quick question I’m done cleaning that worked great btw now do the teeth go right or left looking at it from the back
Ring gear on the diff goes to the left when looking into the open gearbox case/bulkhead. It's the same for front and rear.
