Figured I’d share this as I was upgrading it today. I never really did a build thread on it so now is the time…

This thing is basically a typhon with senton towers. It also has Mojave arms and Kraton hubs and stubs.

I can’t remember which diffs are in it … 🤦🏻‍♂️🤔🤔

I like it. But I prefer the Typhon body because it doesn't get damaged during bad landings etc. Hehe. I want to put Outcast 6s arms and driveshafts on my truggified Typhon so that I can put the backflips 4s tires for better ground clearance hehe. I already have the 6s Outcast hubs on my Typhon.

love that build! I just finished a Typhon SWB build woth the Mohave arms, Typhon shocks and towers, heavy duty springs and oil, running Mohave wheels. What chassis is that, the kraton or Mohave? I had it set up on the kraton chassis but changed my mind last minute, now I’m thinking of switching it to the longer kraton chassis.
how’s it hand;e cornering?

I decided I didn’t like the Christmas scheme.. and had to swap stuff around…

leopard 4282 1680kv with corally 185 torox esc.

I had to do things a bit different to make this motor work… seeing as it has only M3 mounting holes I had to use m3 screws where the normal m4’s for the stock Arrma motors are. There is still quite a bit of meat in the countersink area.. I (think) it’ll be alright as long as I don’t launch this thing 40ft in the air 🤣😂

So you're using Typhon shocks? How tall are the Senton shock towers compared to Typhon shock towers? Do they raise or lower ground clearance compared to Typhon shock towers? I'm interested in a similar build. I'd want Senton or Kraton towers so I could have body mounts for an MT body.

Kraton or Outcast would be good, but if it were me I'd put it in the smallest vehicle you have ;) The last one I fitted was in the Sketer :ROFLMAO:
Shame you just put the Leopard into this build above..!!
I've just bought another one too, it's for my latest project  ( not an Arrma though )

On a side note, it's funny but Leopard motors are quite hard to get over here, it's actually easier for me to get TP..!!

I’ve run 4282 Leos for a couple of years now, both the 1680 & 2000KV. At 1st i would pull the motors down, drill & tap to M4, eventually i got lazy & stopped…. Use quality 12.9 M3s & you will have zero issues.

From my experiences they are very good motors, loads of power & cool running.
