Keeping receiver box water tight?

I swapped out my stock receiver box for the one out of the Rustler/Stampede https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/331602706723 . It is just double sided taped straight to the chassis.
I got mine a little too close to the battery tray however so getting the long strap in is a bit of a hassle.

Can you show us how you fitted the actual receiver panel in the box? Is it secure? I have an extra from my Slash 4x4, but can't wrap how to put the Arrma panel in, without it flopping around and doing damage. The Traxxas is definitely water tight in comparison to the Arrma.

3M automotive double sided tape. The stuff they use to hold on trim and molding on cars. I use that sh*t on everything. Half of the electronics in my cars are just held in by 3m tape. Make sure you clean both surfaces with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol first.
