A Better Receiver Box

Ill have to do an angle test on my printer to see exactly how far it can go but what I have envisioned in my head it probably can not do. When I get my Voron on line, it will probably be able to do better.

If it's ugly on the inside from support that's no problem. Only you will know (and me ).

Can't you print concave/convex with over lapping concentric paths? Just asking I don't have printer myself.

Anyone know if antenna tubes usually come with receivers when you buy them? If so, is there a standard size for them?
I am designing the base for the antenna tube and not sure what size they all are?
I have a few laying around here and they measure arond 3mm OD. Is that about the norm?

I know there are two different sizes, because I've gotten the wrong ones before.

Not that I know of. All of that programming is done in the slicer which has a million options. Maybe there is a way to do that I am unaware of. When printing big open areas like this I have only seen it printing diagonal straight lines per layer then perpendicular on the next layer.

Yeah that is about the the OD size I have.

You can use long pushrod tubes for rc planes and cut them to the length you like.

Latest update on prototype with low resolution print to save filament.
With Air Chamber

With drainage screw holes on bottom.

With antenna mount at bottom.
This looks terrible as it is the support that is removed.

New lid with air chamber roof.

I need to make the antenna tube support taller.
Gonna print a high res version tonight.

Looks great.

My only suggestion would be to merge the antenna mount somewhat more to the body so there's more meat to support/hold the antenna.
