Infraction Mega Wheel hex gap?

Anyone know why the wheel hex gap is so bad on this build, surely this is way too big for some shims.. anyone else seen this happen before because this is a first for me.. 1/8in of play from the wheel studs to the bearing!!

I know I installed everything correctly.. weird!! Welp back to the chipping block!!

What's it look like with the hex on it?.. pin to bearing can be irrelevant at times..
