Dang that sucks I will try the same thing and see what happens. Thanks for the updateIts confirmed, the leopard is junk, blx motor ripping just fine, takes off like an animal with zero hesitation.
I'm not sure if I should contact rcjuice or leopard? I didn't get very many packs through it at all.Dang that sucks I will try the same thing and see what happens. Thanks for the update
Worth a shot, our motors are probably defective. Let us know if yours does the same thing.Any news on this I'm just about to install this exact combo, Hobbywing Max 6 and Hobbystar 1480kv, now I'm nervous?
I have to wait for delivery, it could be a week or so.Worth a shot, our motors are probably defective. Let us know if yours does the same thing.
Slightly off topic, but how did you guys mount the Hobbywing, just the double sided tape or something else?Just installed max 6 and Hobbystar 1480kv. It’s awesome only problem I’m seeing is from dead stop to full throttle it hesitates big time any thoughts anyone
Takes off instantly right? No cog or hesitation? My hobbywing and hobbystar combo has been faultless so far, I'm running a max 6 and 4092 1480kv though.
Lovely looking cans, yeah no hesitation or cogging, I still use the loop, but maybe I'll remove it one day.Takes off instantly right? No cog or hesitation?
This solved my issue...
Oh no, this was a leopard 4092 1480kv on 6s w a max6. My unsensored TP 4070 1570kv has ZERO cog on 4s and 6s with the same esc and same SMC batts. Anyone here ever attempt a leopard warranty claim?sensorless systems can cog quite a bit on lower voltage. the 2s blx granite cogs but put a 3s in and nowhere near as bad
Did you get it through RCJuice? The owner started a thread on here the other day, you might be able to reach out to him, people seem to have had mixed responses from them.Oh no, this was a leopard 4092 1480kv on 6s w a max6.
