I can’t agree there. That motor is beast on 6S. It puts the 4985 to shame, which isn’t surprising due to the size difference. And gearing the 5687 properly is easy enough.
What gearing do you run with the 1100? What kind of speeds are you getting? I’ve thought about that motor myself.
I like ridiculous power!

I gear my Kraton EXB for about 70mph on 6S and switch motors every few months. I like trying new setups.

The current motor is a Castle 1721 1260kv geared 24/44. I’d gear the 1100kv 27/44 or similar.

Hi everyone,
So today was the first test on 6s with 24/50 and it’s a beast.

Blow up the tires, what do you all recommend?

The suspension feels really soft, What oil do you put in the shocks?

Fireteam springs and 100+ wt shock oil or change piston venting. You'll need to get some heavier silicone in the diffs if you want tires to last 👍

can you drop a link of a silicone that will be good for me,

There’s a 85mm and 95mm spring for the fireteam ARA330780, ARA330782.
which one to buy or one is front and one is rear?

Longer is rear.

I’d recommend 100K front and rear, 500k center to start. Brand isn’t important but I use Team.

Hi everyone,
So I made my first test with 29/50 with trencher 3.8 tires.
it run great maybe I need a stronger servo,
The temperature all around was in the low 50 that sound good or I need a fan?
Planning on replacing the spur to 44 and maybe in the mean while I’ll put a 31 or 32 pinion.

Made another run with full battery’s and the motor reached around mid 70 celsius is that ok?

Gear down by installing a smaller pinion.

Improve cooling by adding/upgrading motor fans.
can you link me a good motor fan for 5687 please?

i thought gearing up the pinion and gearing down the spur is less stress for the motor.

Tha
Pinion up, spur down, equals more speed and therefore more motor stress/heat.

Thank you I went with the one with the heat sink.

That's the wrong move IMO. A heat sink like that will block the airflow on the motor's built-in cooling fins.

I would only use that type of heat sink on a smooth-can motor.
Ok I thought It will better because of more surface area, I’ll order exactly what you linked
