With a spool you can run a much smaller spur. That’s the goal. To get to 1:1 gearing

yeah. that's the way i had my rustler, but i had a big enough gearbox to do it with
i just found this mount and i think it's what i was looking for. I just haven't had time to visit the arrma website

Yeah that’s the older 6S mount.

I have fit up to a 29T pinion in my Typhon 3S and had to dremel the inside to get it to fit. Nothing as drastic as cutting the side off.

Could I possibly use a 30t if I milled the slots out a little longer?
