So this will actually be a build thread for my 9 year old.
After we went to an actual crawler course we realized that although pretty capable, his 1:12 MN99 simply isn't wide enough for a lot of the obstacles.
I had planned to give it to him for his birthday in the summer but after he had a bit of a upsetting food allergy incident, I decided to surprise him with it.
He got the bead locks together and tires mounted.
Then removed the body and wheels before he wanted a break.
Plans include brushless conversion and will help him design and 3d print a receiver box and battery mount.
