Question about lipo

An ABC fire extinguisher is not the best choice on a lipo fire and a class D extinguisher is $$$, you're much better off with a big bag of sand. I have a #40 bag just for that reason. Just put a big pile on top. The ABC will still keep the surrounding stuff from burning but it does nada to the lipo itself.

Sand will not work well either, you have pressure that will just blow it all over the place.
Simple fire safe container will do, place it on tiles etc.
