Kraton Rear forward hinge pin suspension mount question

Looking at this rear forward hinge pin mount, what's the purpose of the grub screws that hold the pin? I see other brands / types that do not have them.

Just that, it holds the pin in place.
Stay away from HR for this application, had those and they are soft as butter. Not an upgrade over stock, actually worse imho.
