Well, I couldn't resist any longer so I pulled the trigger. Absolutely love the truck but would like to raise height a little. Anyone else raise theirs?

Should have looked over the manual before posting. Looks like I will just compress the springs 4 or 5 turns.

Hoping you have other tires on order. (y)

It's fun this truck, but it eats the tires fast.
The rear tires s'use faster than those before.

You can rotate the tires. (y)
That allows two more races.

Yep. Have some grp s7's on the way.

I'm already in need of a rotation. Haha

One of driftomaniacs videos suggests that the truck can be raised by adjusting the droop screws, just as Brian has done. I haven't looked into this yet, but it is on my list of things to do. I want to do it to increase the clearance of the wheels against the shell (and yes i have adjusted the body pillars).

Not with the S7, it is very resistant. (y)

The tires have a lot of grip, but the car is too low.
I drive on the brand new asphalt. It's very sticky. :ROFLMAO:(y)

They are very good tires. (y)
But, the rear wheels rubs!

I did only one race. I like drifted with this truck.
For me, I prefer the Hoons for drifting. (y)

Look at the height difference of the tires!
The S7 is really low even when the Hoons tires are worn out.

For S7, I prefer to remove the spoiler before.
I can take quick turns from drifting and nothing rubs.
The tires have a lot of grip.
It lowers the body in a fast bend and the front rubs a lot more than the tires of Hoons.

My braking is at 50%. The front of the truck goes down a lot.

The tires of S7, make the smoke too.

I took the first run on the S7's. Ran for about 15 mins. Not too hard but not crawling either. Tires still look new. :)

There is a height difference (not a giant difference, but a difference nonetheless) between the Hoon and the S7 but I think the S7 is a much harder tire. I didn't see any smoke but I did leave a small patch. ;) I also had alot of grip.

Excellent information! Are the s5's the same size as the s7's?

After 40 minutes of medium aggressive driving (slalom, oval and speed pulls), here's what the S7's, splitter and bottom look like.

I raised mine up two full turns in the front but have yet to run it, been trying to figure out the best way to make sure the truck is level. I think my shell may have arrived slightly warped.
