Hi all, I have a new granite mega running with 2s lipo. Has anyone had issues with losing power? steering still works just no throttle response. I switch the speed control off then on again and it works again. This happens several times per battery. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. And if it was something simple or they changed the speedie. Cheers

I don´t know the ESC from the Granite, but it sounds like lipo-cut of.
Which C-rate does you´re Lipo have and whats recommended in the Manual to the Granite?

It's 5000mah 30c pack. I have found others here that have had the same issue. It seems to be a bad esc. I have a 17.5 brushless and esc, I'll install that and see how it goes.

if your lips is in good condition, it is your Esc.

A 17,5 is a mild sensored system, which will just be fine.
At least you will be able to test your lipo battery.
It will certainly have better performance than the stock brushed motor

@Willie66- I had the same issues with my sons granite mega but with the venom 7.4v 5000mah 30C. In not so sure if it's the LiPo, I switched to gensacearespammers 7.4 v 5000mah 50c and the problem went away. Hope it works for your granite mega too.
