Traxxas Maxx v2 Suspension Setup

I have been down the YouTube rabbit hole for a few days and the answers are all over the place… New gold springs, 80W shock oil, new Maxx Slash shock risers in the rear, larger tires…

Any good solid advice to help the Traxxas Maxx v2 suspension before I commit to something else that might not work?

I installed the GPM gold in the rear and silver up front. 80wt on all fours corners with M2C pistons.

I think I used VG springs. It’s been a couple years though.

Looks like this combo is pretty common too. I think tire selection is also a deciding factor as well. What tires are you running with this setup?

SRC Terrain Crushers with a MAX8 G2 ESC coupled to the 2250 G2 motor. I don’t take big jumps with it as I keep her on the ground mostly.

On my Maxx V1 I use VG springs, 70wt front, and 80wt rear.
