Are ABEC spec bearings still a thing?

Yes ABEC rating is still used.

Is the ceramic deal worth it? I figure it’s really good for going thru deep deep puddles regular.

don’t know anything about Abec. Still seems to be a thing on skateboards and rollerblades.

Ceramic bearings are good for motors, but most think it’s overkill to fit an entire basher rig with them.

Ceramic bearings are good for motors, but most think it’s overkill to fit an entire basher rig with them.

I spent alot on Boca rubber sealed ceramic bearings for my motor. So far they've lasted over a year. I think it may be worth it, since a blown motor bearing can cost you a motor. But for the rest of the rig, it's definitely not worth it. Just replace bearings as needed.
