Yep, exabytes or whatever they are called are just too hard a compound. I used up a set on my home track, they lasted me a year and still have tread!! Thankfully I was only racing myself, cuz theys greasy AF!!FWIW , I tried the factory TLR Typhon tires on my lhs dirt track ,…… horrible !!! JConcepts Recon blue compound , the buggy took off !!!
Currently running a set of Dynamite dirtsmiths I grabbed off ebay. They're pretty decent, feels like closed cell foams in them as they're quite firm. My bro picked a set of Prolines and TBH, they feel about the same.. mind you I'm a backyard racer so not well versed in competitive racing.
