My 2mm hex driver from amazon is starti to drive me nuts i ruined 2 oinion screws and i was always lucky to remove it with fire. From now on i will heat my pinion screw to remove it. Also ruined 2-3 normal screws is there any good 2mm driver who doesn't have any pay? I heard about mip and also saw many snping the tip off:c i don't want that to happen. Any recommandations?

All I can say is buy quality tools from the get go. Ths last time I used a bullsh!t tool I rounded the points on a brand new oil drain plug because I didn't have a proper metric wrench. Never again!

Yes but what are my options for quality tools expet mip
Their are many, do a search on here, remember reading a long thread on here with many options of good quality tools, believe it's a sticky by WoodiE.

I have used these and never had an issue. Tools are only as good as the user though. I’m pretty sure any tool can be broken if misused. You have to use heat with red loctite. You can’t just muscle it. You shouldn’t be finishing screws with a power tool either.

Neewer - Set of 4 Hexagonal Screwdrivers Made of Titanium Nitride with Coloured Handles.Compatible with 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3mm Screws. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CP2GGBI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oWFZDb28AF3V7
+1
I use the same set and have had no problems. In fact, I bought a second set and removed the handles for use in the drill.

Looks like my 2mm MIP driver. Someone suggested grinding the tip down but there's nothing to grind down.

I ground the tip down on my Dynamite 2mm and it works way better than the MIP does. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/202328574378

Trust me when I say this buy a Dremel.
Maybe mine was just so worn out then i will sand the tip a bit more tomorrow
I have the bad habit to use my drivers to prie things off
Do not use them as a pry tool. https://m.aliexpress.com/item/32667...jZMJ5yTcBgTIkWK3HlzOndn2s8Fr9qAsaApQLEALw_wcB

I've only ever placed one order through Aliexpress and all of the cheap aluminum crap showed up in a timely manner.

Maybe try some Team EDS wrenches then. I have their power bits and have never had a single issue with those either. The tips I go thru the most are #2 Phillips tips. They break a lot. Allen and Torx I have never broken.
