That poor microphone can't handle how loud that car is. He is brave or just plain stupid to keep driving it while it's moving around like that....
It has been fantastic to see the progression with that car, but man.... so much money was dumped into it. He would have been better off starting with an AWD Lambo from a speed and cost perspective. I get that he loves the rotary motors and that's why he does it.

Thanks buddy. I’ve been pushing these packs on 3s and 4s they have some serious power.
Kyle’s got the 3s ones doing great numbers with his car.

I had planned too but my car has yet to even ship out. Was getting a carbon roller

I was lucky and on the early list. It seems a bit hit and miss for who is getting them. Typical startup stuff. Hopefully they get it together soon.

Yea. I’ve seen guys ordering over a month after me getting theirs and posting in the Facebook group. So I stopped looking at those posts and just gonna let it show up eventually. At least I hope it will.
I saw they pushed the challenge back to the end of the month now. But still doesn’t leave much time to get the car ready, I already know someone going 140+ after 3 runs with theirs. Lot of catching up to do

I'm not even sure I have enough space to get 140 with the AK-917. The Limitless PB on 8S is 131, I'm thinking I can get 140 range from that before I run out of room. This little guy is smaller and lighter but is also on 4S and a 36mm motor and I think I need more space.

This thread will serve as the Arrma forum 2022
4s speed run challenge for 1/8 and 1/7 cars (not the Arrma 3s or 4s line specifically, but a challenge for running 4s voltage)

Rules:
- Have fun and enjoy the journey
- Be safe and considers others' safety!
- Help each other improve
- Must be 4s voltage (any number of batteries parallel as long as it stays 4s LiPo max voltage) (4.2v * 4 = 16.8v max voltage post run) (overcharging is allowed)
- Any motor (assuming we are ok with dual motors should someone want to run that, but will be split off onto a separate list)
- Any ESC (come on it's always the XLX2 )
- Any tires (Rubber or foam)
- Chassis any 1/8 or 1/7 ("1/10" cars like Slash 4x4 that are truly by size/measurement a 1/8 scale are allowed)
- (NO 1/10 scale small touring cars like 4tec, serpent, Tamiya etc)
- Standard rules for showing GPS that we normally do.
- In your video show the batteries are 4s (5 wires) and if running parallel clearly show the connection going to the ESC.
- Do not have to return the car, but crashes disqualify the run

****Post your video link in this thread and I'll edit the original post with a spreadsheet of standings a few times per week. Also note the car so I can keep up with the list. (I'll track up to 2 of your cars, but you must tell me the model of car in your thread post)****
