Color wise the car is fine to see. It seems at certain times of day line when I ran this 163 pass it doesn’t matter what color the car is I just can’t see it until it turns around
Powerhobby is sending me a bunch of lights for my cars soon which is cool. The red light in the rear helps a lot

It seems everyone who runs lights on their cars really likes it. I'll have to do that at some point.

If I am doing a little testing at night (w/o the body) I put those little finger lights on the F&R body posts (I am within 250ft of the car at all times).
I had a nice flashy bike light that I wanted to put on the rear of my 1/7 but I have no clue where it went, it was so bright.

This thread will serve as the Arrma forum 2022
4s speed run challenge for 1/8 and 1/7 cars (not the Arrma 3s or 4s line specifically, but a challenge for running 4s voltage)

Rules:
- Have fun and enjoy the journey
- Be safe and considers others' safety!
- Help each other improve
- Must be 4s voltage (any number of batteries parallel as long as it stays 4s LiPo max voltage) (4.2v * 4 = 16.8v max voltage post run) (overcharging is allowed)
- Any motor (assuming we are ok with dual motors should someone want to run that, but will be split off onto a separate list)
- Any ESC (come on it's always the XLX2 )
- Any tires (Rubber or foam)
- Chassis any 1/8 or 1/7 ("1/10" cars like Slash 4x4 that are truly by size/measurement a 1/8 scale are allowed)
- (NO 1/10 scale small touring cars like 4tec, serpent, Tamiya etc)
- Standard rules for showing GPS that we normally do.
- In your video show the batteries are 4s (5 wires) and if running parallel clearly show the connection going to the ESC.
- Do not have to return the car, but crashes disqualify the run

****Post your video link in this thread and I'll edit the original post with a spreadsheet of standings a few times per week. Also note the car so I can keep up with the list. (I'll track up to 2 of your cars, but you must tell me the model of car in your thread post)****

Got you noted in the Hi-Voltage category since it was over 4.2 v per cell post run.

@LibertyMKiii i noticed my vendetta is listed twice on the list. You can delete the 155 pass since the 163 pass is on there.

I’m not too concerned about adding this to the list either but I just wanted to post my progress.

My vendetta did 163mph on a single 4s, that’s the fastest 1/8 single motor pass I have seen. I really want to reach 165-170 this year which is my goal.

Yes you are on the money there, lol I was in the 4s mindset and didn’t even notice he said fastest but no voltage spec.
Shaun jones in the Uk was running a stretched chassis. I believe it was a 360mm chassis.

Unfortunately the guy Abdullah has made himself very untrustworthy this year as he posted “single motor” numbers with a dual motor car and since he never opened any of his cars or his 1/8 scale cars it’s hard to know whether he was dual or single. He did 184 last year with a 1/8 scale but it’s possible that was a dual motor, sadly when you try to be sneaky and claim untrue things it then casts doubt over everything you do.
