If I'm seeing this right the new 1/7 big rock has these. https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/gearbox-sealing-gasket/ARA311190.html

Factory arrma gear box gaskets for front and rear end of 6S line.

PS to forums staff we need a 6S bigrock tag for prefix.
Seems that its specific to the BRCC6s only though

Yeah I was looking at that as well but its using this chassis plate gear box area is the same as most 6S lines https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/aluminum-chassis-xlwb-black/ARA320732.html. No visual change in gear box housing mounting area. With this its using gear box same as all other 6S line. https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/gearbox-case-set-hd-6s/ARAC5006.html

So I can see no reason it would not fit the rest of the 6S line. Shoot the chassis is for no car right now even though I pulled it from the big rocks part list.
It looks like a blacked out mojave chassis the screw lay out is the same. No size to confirm. But look Mojave https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/aluminum-chassis-xlwb-black/ARA320542.html Big rock https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/aluminum-chassis-xlwb-black/ARA320732.html

That's all @WoodiE

Did they change the chassis or gearboxes for the Big Rock? I'm willing to be they just stuck the listing up in haste and forgot to add the other cars.

What you wrote makes sense BUT a lot of things “seem” to fit. Arrma hasn’t posted the truck in the library yet. Maybe tomorrow? Only way to know for sure is the cross-validate once the exploded views and/or parts list goes public.

If the BRCC6s uses the same part-number cases (see below) as the entire 6s line, it’ll fit.

doesn't make sense because it has the same old gearbox as the v5 cars. And just use grease on the inside of the gearbox when to create a seal. These are unnessesary. A wear item you will need to replace everytime you remove the gearbox

So much for the V6.
M2C makes Basherqueen style gaskets for V5 gearboxes. With a plastic gearbox I don't see the application.

Grease to seal the housing? I don’t work that way. It’ll wash off. Gasket is the way to go and it doesn’t need replacing every time, and if it did, it isn’t a big expense.

I was gonna say those gaskets are reusable unless you completely fubar pulling it off and mess it up.

Just like how you would put silicone around ur bath tub but i do it with grease on the inside of the gearbox. Ensures i wont have a hot mess outside and a clean inside free of dirt and sand

Dirt will mess it up. Nee trucks come with oil sprayed everywhere. Particules of dusts will get stuck and any attemp of cleaning the gasket will end up putting the dirt on where it will seal. When i remove my gearbox no matter how careful i am I end up with junk on the gearbox i clean the chassis and the part of the gearbox that touches the chassis and voila. I thought at the begining when i got my first 6s truck I though it needed one then i noticed nothing got inside the diff with my technique why would i buy gaskets? Gaskets after 1-2 uses stretches or rip. I might have OCD because a normal person wouldnt think like me i need to talk to my doctor about it. A grain of dirt or grease stresses me out. I haven't yet cleaned my 2 remaining nero diffs because i do not want to mess with the headache of cleaning them with my ultrasonic. I can see the need of a gasket if you think ur rc cr is a submarine or if you live in diamond dust. I can already feel the pain of lining it up and some random dirt decides to fall on top of it😂

You cannot compare caulking around a bathtub to sealing a differential. First of all, a gasket works in a compression state. You are aware that automobiles have gaskets on engine, transmission, differential components, right? Applying silicone instead of a gasket is a last-resort and only hacks work that way. Plus, it shouldn’t be used as it will eject itself from the two mating surfaces once clamping force is applied… making is useless.

I use mud to seal my gearboxes. Being it rains for 10 months out of the year here we have a lot of it. The inside of my gearboxes never seem to build up much dirt.

Well didn't expect the post to go this way but here we are.

If you had looked at the link I posted for the gear box there it does list the BRCC6s as same gear box as the rest of the 6S line. Its on there sight and there exploded view and parts search is were I got the links in question. If you had taken the time to check your sources and not instantly discredit my post you might have seen this.

Let me be clear I was just happy to see newer cars might come with them preinstalled like the BRCC6s. With this we can get some from another source other then basher queen and M2C ebay. These look like a more rubberized gasket be interesting to know how the hold up.

The gaskets are for keep the grease in not the stuff out. This will lower grit stuck in hinge pins and other moving parts leading to less maintenance to prevent wear. Yes grease keeps stuff out but once its in your joints with the dirty places we put these cars your just making a grit paste.

I do put a tiny bit of grease on the area the gearbox sits on the chassis. My goal is not to make a perfect seal but a good enough seal to protect against junk getting into the diff.
I do have sometimes a tiny bit of dirt buildup around the gearbox but nothing more. If the gaskets are paper they are a one use item if they are tough and rubber like they should last a few reuses

Discredit your post? If I did, it wasn’t intentional. Your arrogant and belittling words say a lot about how fragile your ego is.

Gaskets, orings, backup rings, and seals (and some wiper designs) work to keep lubricants in AND to keep dirt out. Not just keeping grease in like you stated.

Grease main function is to lubricate a wide variety of components. Some use it for sealing purposes, but hey, to each their own.

It's the same damn gearboxes mount to the same XLWB chassis held together by the same suspension hangers. It's a Fireteam with LSD diffs in both open and active configuration.

Arrma's site is all screwed up lately.
These BRCC Gaskets must fit pretty much the whole 4x4 line. Like @slick2500 stated above.
I don't run gaskets with my 6s Arrmas, but they obviously would serve a purpose. I just smear grease at the lower bulkheads. I don't run in the wet stuff or send them for much big air.
Tekjo and Basher Queen make 6s Bulkhead chassis Gaskets already. The BRCC ones only utilize 2 chassis holes for retention.
