QTEATAK 510 Pcs Black Nylon Flat Washer Assortment Kit for Electrical Connections on Household & Commercial Appliances, (M2 M2.5 M3 M4 M5 M6 M8 M10) https://a.co/d/aoKY3Fu 5$

Tossed some of these on my shock shafts and never had the problem again. Really useful kit tbh, I find myself using em for all types of things. Great for adjusting camber too.

What do you do? Just Toss a couple on the shaft and they act as spacers? That don't gouge the aluminum shock body when they hit it? 🤔

Yea, I use about 3-4 of them on the shock shaft and I've never had a single problem afterwards. I do it to every new truck I get now. Before, I had front drive shafts popping out all day everyday. Even removing the spacers on the arms, which everyone recommends as a fix didn't do squat. I had drive shafts popping out even from doing wheelies. The washers are also nylon so they're pretty soft I don't even think it's possible for them to scratch anything.

If you look on Amain hobbies, search for nitro fuel tubing. Its all pretty much the same size, maybe 2mm inner diameter. Fits all of my 6s cars just fine. Makes a nice bushing.

Seen another post about getting a small o-ring or two from the local hardware store and putting them on the shock shaft. Would save some shipping cost.

True about shipping, although any local hobby store will carry silicone fuel tubing. Even a foot of it will do MANY vehicles. I think on mine, I used maybe 1/8" or 3/16" per shock. I do like the cushion the tubing provides. But the o-ring suggestion is good as well. (y)
