Installed the HR Steering Bellcrack. This is one of the best parts I've put on my BRCC, it has removed almost all of the slop in the steering. I also installed the HR pivot balls, GPM C-hubs, and GPM Steering blocks.

No racing today, just open practice at the LHS. It's a cool little 1/10 only Short Course track(dirt/pavers/asphalt), no big jumps, and dirt was a little loose today. My first time with the BRCC at the track, along with my buddy and his Granite, a 2wd Slash, and a 4wd brushless Slash. I have never driven a monster truck at a track before, very much like driving an E-truggy. I think I need to go down to a 13 or 14 tooth pinion and def need a softer spring on the rear shock. Besides that, I'm very happy with the how the BRCC ran. Ready to run the Monster Truck class next Saturday!
Here's a short clip. Sorry for the bad angle, first time using my gopro with the headband attachment.
I just got a GoPro and all the different mounts. I'm still messing with the different settings and mounts. Did you use your phone app to set up the viewing field? Was that "wide" or the super mode?
Hi sorry for slow reply just got finished with work. I checked T-Bones website and they have an actual bumper now here is the link: https://tboneracing.net/products/10095-tbr-xv6-front-bumper-arrma-big-rock-3sHave you got a link to the bumper? Cheers!
Not sure, all it needs to get it right is Duratrax 12mm hexes, HR 12mm to 17mm adapters, Proline Badlands, and HR Steering bellcrank. That's about $140. All the other stuff I added is just personal preference.
The front bumper from TBone is the same as the Granite one. It looks like they redesigned the rear in though. About time. https://tboneracing.net/products/10096-tbr-wheelie-bar-arrma-big-rock-3s?variant=19940437426287
Finally got the 17mm conversion done thanks to following this post and I have to say the Hot Racing hubs are very nice product I like how the little collar nut tightened up the whole hub it works great on this truck. Here are the pictures I said I would post once done. I think next for me on this truck will be some HR steering parts and a more powerful steering servo, probally just Arrma 15kg for now and T-Bones rear bumper eventually.
Is the Granite 4x4 front bumper a direct fit for the BRCC? I bought both the front and rear Granite bumpers before T-Bone released the specific ones for BRCC and the rear definitely does not fit the BRCC....I didn't wanna open the package and try the front one cuz I thought it wouldn't fit
It will fit see my picture just above I did the exact same as you. Ordered the granite one before the bumper for the big rock existed. It should work greatIs the Granite 4x4 front bumper a direct fit for the BRCC? Awesome! How are you liking the shocks? The stock arrma shocks weren't up to par. I had been trying to do research on piston options, but couldn't find any. Then I noticed guys were doing tekno shock upgrades. I'm currently still running a Tekno SCT 410.3 at track, so I had an old backup setup of Tekno EB48(non-emulsion) shocks laying around. These had 10 hole pistons in them. I'm running 60wt TLR oil in front, zero rebound and 45 wt TLR oil in rear, zero rebound. I'm not sure of this combo yet, I may want to drop to 40wt in the rear.
Here are comparison pictures
The tekno shocks are so plush. Still trying to fine tune the suspension, been playing with different springs to get it where I want it.Awesome! How are you liking the shocks?
Which proline body is this? If it fits the stampede we’re you able to make it fit the BRCC?Got the T-Bone front bumper installed. It fits perfectly with the proline body.
