I would say either Proline 3.8 Badlands(not the MX3.8) Proline Shockwaves or Dboots Backflips, the Backflips are a bit on the larger size though. No matter what you buy they will ballon on 6s though.Yes, that's what I was worried about. Traction on dirt was amazing until the un-glued. What tires and wheels are recommended for general fooling around?
Check Jennys Rc for the backflips. They come up pretty often. https://jennysrc.com/search?type=product&q=ArrmaThe backflips sound really good from what I've read. I'll see if I can find an affordable set of those. I'm also thinking of getting some Tekno orange springs since I'm finding that the front springs seem too soft in my opinion.
The Copperhead 2 is the new tire they use on the Kraton 6s V4. $70 for a set of 4. https://jennysrc.com/collections/ar...heels-tyres-rims-dboots-copperhead-2-ar106040The backflips sound really good from what I've read. Go with V3/V4 Kraton springs, they are longer and stiffer than the Teknos. The backflips sound really good from what I've read. I'll see if I can find an affordable set of those. I can run Minokawas on my Talion, but they have a thin wheel hex, the Backflips have a deep hex for strength. I must try and see if the Backflips will fit the V3 Talion?Wow! That's a new one on me! I didn't know there was a difference in the wheels. To use the Kraton hex's you also need the Kraton axle parts. I'd wait and keep checking Jennys for the whole axle package. Cheaper. Others will chiome in as to what other models use the same stuff.

Humm late to the party I am, as usual..... Ha!
That's a pain, how much slack is in the axle? If you were to remove the axle hex, put some shims between the outer bearing and the red hex, would that give you the clearance you need?
Otherwise Jenny's RC has a set of hubs, but is it the axle hex that is to too narrow?
If you change them I don't know if you will need all this?

Alrighty, I finally had some time to pull the axles apart on the Talion. It looks like there isn't enough slop to shim them out a bit, so I'll have to spend some money again. My axles are about 33.6 mm long, and the Kraton axles appear to be about 44 mm long, so hopefully that will work. They are pretty spendy for what they are.
I also think I will have to get the Kraton hexes, part number AR106040, as well as the Kraton axles AR310591 and AR310590. I think my Talion axle carriers should still work. Someone stop me if I'm thinking wrong!
