Looks like a very happy young man indeed. Just make it VERY CLEAR that all stationary objects, no matter how small, will be the death of that thing in about 3.7 seconds!! Don't ask me how I know!!

Thinking they were 17mm hex wheels …!
Well they are not !!!!
They are 14mm hex wheels
Is there an adapter from 17 to 14 ?

Nothing, the originals are still in great shape actually
I just like the bigger tires as it helps my boys send these 3s rigs to the moon !!
I’m actually really impressed with the 3s line
They. Are lighter , and have silly power and can withstand my boys abuse which is sayin something!!!!!

I’ve seen them… do a search on Amazon or eBay. I can’t right now got to get the kid to school.

Those only work with proline raid wheels that have inner changeable hex inserts. So those are not it.
I remembered wrong because I’m not finding any 17 mm to 14 mm adapters. They probably don’t even exist.

Are the tires returnable? If not, You could always get a set of standard 3s axles like the granite, vorteks and big rock use and 14 mm hex to run these tires. Save the typhon part for when you get 17 mm tires eventually. They are silly expensive though. I have an extra set of axles I can happily send you, as well as 14 mm hex adapters. I’ll check for them in about an hour. Meanwhile, PM me please.

What a difference in width and stance !
These 3s rigs have a certain simplicity about them , yet they still take an unbelievable beating!
We will try to run it this afternoon!
I’m sure he will test its durability!!! Lol

Darn you! I made the mistake of showing my GF the first vid of your son performing that double back flip and now she wants a ramp! Lol. Has the same typhon.
