I might just get one myself for Christmas. I need a new little toy. Just because... Will probably arrive in Feb 2024 anyway when the holidays are over. The hype is over, and the Floodgates open. My Birthday is on the 1st.

Looks like he already did a brushless swap on one. To me looks like the motor hole is around 42mm (based on the gap around the 36mm motor)

I don't know the exact size, but you won't fit anything bigger than a 36mm can.

That is when you take the dremmel sanding tools to it and make the hole bigger!

I already thought of widening the hole, but it won't work. Towards the front, the hole is flush to the inside wall of the chassis. Towards the back, there's room to cut away, but that would be a waste of time. The very limiting motor mount area forces the motor to be more fore than aft so that it can line up the pinion and spur. You gents really have no faith in the idea that I would have crammed a 4080 tp in there if it was possible? Come on, I'm the king of stupid things to try.

Okay, so I measured. The hole is not perfectly round. It's 42mm back to front and 38.5mm top to bottom. You cannot make the hole bigger as most of the inside wall is flush to the opening. 36mm cans it is. And for reference, a 26t 0.8 mod pinion will not fit by a hair. Grabbing a 24t as we speak.

You can't. The motor mounts directly to the chassis, no separate mount. Start searching for 36mm cans and safe yourself the grief. I'm trying a 3800 Gool Rc I had lying around plus hoping that I can squeeze a 24t pinion in as well

Mine has the spektrum 3900kv ..fits perfect without any mods..rotate motor to where the wires faces rear of truck
Arrma granite tires, 100 firma esc, and 3900kv motor...dx3 radio...all stock gearing..add the wheelie bar, you're gonna need it at 100% on throttle limiter setting
