big air compressor with 120psi, leaf blower and this before I strip them down,

I use a low budget red headed step child version of an air compressor and simple green/shower.

Best solution for cleaning is a air compressor and Simple Green.

I make a 50/50 mixture with water in a spray bottle.

Own one of these.. Very helpful and worth wild investment

And, it's Very quiet.

I live in an apartment. Air compressor is not really in the cards unfortunately. Maybe an airbrush sized unit but I don't think they have the psi to do any good.

But, just so you can get a real world feel/understanding of this particular compressor..
You might want to swing by a HB store and have them plug it in and powered up.. Because it's really quiet when it's running.

You can have a normal conversation standing over those air compressors, quieter than a vacuum cleaner.
