In the full thread linked earlier he did mention 8s so who knows...

Get hyped!

I think we can take him at face value here. He’s saying there will be another release but it won’t be an 8S. Who knows?

He probably meant that he DID mention 8S, because he did, in your other thread. Otherwise it wouldn't really make sense to not be 8S, especially if it's another 1/5 scale.
He posts a lot on Facebook and I'm sure he's responded to a few different posts those just happened to be the 2 I saw.

Think what would be the next logical Arrma rig in an 8S config. And maybe not 8S at all?
But since R and D and the tooling for the 8S has been invested already, its possible for a Typhon 8S. That would round it out. SWB OC 8S would also be interesting.

Short wheelbase 8S( OC) The OC Lable is clearly on the Arrma Map. And well known. Maybe even a NOTO body????maybe not???
SWB chassis are more "square" and thus durable. Less Prone to bending. Imagine 1/5 scale BackFlips.(y) You could mow the lawn and mulch with those tires in 1/5 size while you bash. Its a win win.:ROFLMAO:

That's an Outcast...????
Technically, no it would be a granite 6s. I get your point though.
So technically a Granite and OC are different. In the 3S and 4S line they share a chassis, but the OC is much wider than the Granite. The Granite is much more inline scale wise with the Xmaxx and Maxx. They are narrow MT rigs, where the OC and other Arrma trucks have a much wider stance.
