Do you need to shim the center diff

I see a lot of information in regards to shimming the rear/front diff but nothing on the center diff. So do you still need to shimm the center diff? tia

I did all three on my Outcast. Some needed two extra shims inside and one diff only needed one extra shim inside to get it feeling nice. Can't remember which one it was though. Haha

Lol i just shim the diff like what tp does haha

I shimmed all 3 in my outcast but only need to shim 1 in my v3 kraton ti get all right and feeling good. I suggest going by feel if the diff doesn't feel sloppy then there's no need to shim.

Was seeing quite a few grenaded center diffs so as precaution went with the HR aluminum diff cups from the start due to the power of the tp 4070cm motor i installed.

One thing by doing this - each diff took the same amount of shims and feel exactly the same in terms of gear mesh; can really feel the oil weight differences. I used the 2-1, 2-1 on the cross pins behind the planetary/spider gears (6x shims total per diff).
