Favorite Tool

I know we have a lot of Wrenching, Tech's, Mechanics out here and some real skilled Hobbyist's and I was wondering what your favorite tool is that you have to use, pretty much a life saver for you.
In my field working with industrial Lasers (Trumpf, Bystronic) I use a Chapman Tool daily, it saved my ass so many times.

When I was doing RF design my vector network analyzer was my must have piece of equipment. Other than that, maybe my Mantis as I am blind as a bat and soldering small surface mount components on proto boards was near impossible without it.

Yes sir, I could run both but I would be very slow I'm better with Lasers (Co2) or CNC

I've been tossing around getting a small lathe for years to support all of my hobbies including shooting. Is that a Remington 700 LA bolt in the chuck?

700 Short, but yes. I undercut it, sleeved it, and ground it to fit. You can do a lot to a bolt action rifle on the lathe. Look up the book by John L. Hinnant if you're interested.
