I love the under water world. It holds a mystery that no one will ever find.i have allways been a fish keeper ,since my child hood way back when I was just a little bratt .🤣 I've been building up on my koi pond I built 16 years ago.been actively running and maintaining this pond for a while now and I enjoy it everyday.ive also planted many different types of plant species that thrive around a pond environment .love to see what members have done or doing.this thread and I think it will be cool for those who want just come and see sweet pics or vids off their fish or ponds.relaxing thread I shall say. So let's see what ya GOTT👍😁

Thank you very much.i love fish keeping and wild life and I know there are many here that also do to.i hope this thread is a place where people can just relax and enjoy . I'm working on a 200 gallon aquarium.resealing it and then polishing the glass.also working on the stand.
All of the old silicone is removed and all cleaned up ..very tidious job.i must have cleaned it so many times and vacuumed up every little single peice of silicone.very important not to leave anything behind .it's all masked up and ready for new bead of silicone.
I painted the oak wood stand satin black .
Last pic is the final 2nd coat and all the brush marks completely disappeared.came out sweet.

We call em Striper too. My SC buddies call em that. They sound delicious. I love salt water fish. Halibut. Grouper and Schnook are some of my favorites. Of course who doesn’t love Shark, Tuna and Swordfish steaks. People trip out when they taste just like meat. Lol. Being from Northern Michigan…we catch Muskie. Pike. Some monster salmon and the world record brown trout was caught in a place I’ve fished 100 times. 46 lbs and 6’ long. Something stupid like that. But we eat Walleye. White fish. Trout. Perch. The normal fresh water goodness but once you’ve had some fresh saltwater fish? It’ll wreck you if you love to eat fish. 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Wow you know your fish😁👍here in Rhode island we have so many kinds of fish it's all around us .I'm going clamming next week right down the street from my house by the bay.going to get quahog and little necks and cherry stones ..I'm literally a 3 minute walk to open salt water .I can go fishing off the shore line or Waite for low tide and head out with my clam rake I made..I spend about 2 hours and come back with 2, 5 gallon buckets full probably worth at least $100. clams are expensive at the store and I get them free😁 we do have a certain size we can't take like it has to be bigger than 2" . basically anything that falls though the holes in my rake basket I can't take but where I go is private area so D.E.M can't do anything .I try not to take the tiny ones but 🤷 at time I do because they are so tender and full of flavor.my wife loves little necks raw on ice with hot sauce and lemon .that's how they are served in restaurants here.ill show pics and make a vid of when I go next friday.we also have a fish here that's so abundant that we have no limit to how many we can catch it's called scup.i believe some other people call it something else .don't remember but the meat is white and very tasty.many here use it for fish and chips instead of cod fish or scrodd.served with Cole slaw and tartar sauce.

Another video of my son nick catching a small stripper I believe that was his first one he ever caught.👍 Funny how the kids enjoyed catching the mackerel better than the strippers.i know why because mackerel don't give a fight lol easy picking
