For those wondering, this is a production ready unreleased nitro arrma based on the talion platform. No, the engine is not actually an arrma engine. Don't let the logos fool you. It's actually a rebranded Force engine.

Here's some pictures when I received it and with the body I just finished painting up.

Here it is with the body I painted. I tried to make it resemble the v1/v2 bodies.

In the flesh!
One of the guys on Bookface made a Nitro Kraton. In all honesty I would have thought that someone would have made a nitro Typhon or Outcast first as nothing had to be custom made to make them you just need the center section of the Team Durango DNX8.

Last night I tore it apart for a rebuild. I have a scratched spare chassis which I will be using when I run it, hence the rebuild. Here are some pictures I took during the rebuild.

"QC 22"
I'm not sure what this means

I should mention that one of the engine mounts is cracked. This is one of the many reasons why I won't be taking it off jumps or driving it rough in any manner

Here's a look at both of them

And a closeup picture showing the awful quality. Check out that pitting.

Fixed with JB Weld (hopefully)

I have a spare brake and throttle linkage assembly for it. Check out the different brakes & brake pads. I'm assuming everything on this car was all sorted and ready for release except for the brakes and possibly the engine mounts.

Almost finished rebuilding it. Just waiting for the jb weld on the engine mounts to fully cure.

Man that's a sweet rig. Just my .02 here but with the way my Talion likes to roll over and play dead I would definitely be looking into some sort of skid guard to protect the cooling head of that engine.

Iirc this was just a prototype so that would explain the crappy motor mount and the weird brakes.

Very cool. I didn't realize these ever existed.

1 of 1 iirc.

Unique! Looking forward to the video. When those crack again from vibration, an experienced aluminum welder will be able to make even stronger than original with re-drilled mounting hole.

I lowered it a whole bunch so it should be fine.

The engine mounts are made of diecast/zinc. Welding won't work.
