Spent the morning testing out a new set of Pro Line Trenchers. Impressive in the wet, soggy soccer fields.

Hope you are all having a good weekend. s.

No worries at all. Here is what you need:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rc-12mm-to...783924?hash=item4b4f3a8af4:g:RF0AAOSwwThboAPE

So mount up the 12mm hex, and then install the 17mm hex onto the wheels. I purchased 5 sets of the 17mm and I just mount them on the wheels and leave them on.

Lemme know if this helps. I can post some photos if you like; no problem!

Or just buy the Typhon axles and hexes....
I had thought of that, but I run so many different wheel and tire setups that it was easier to just stay with the standard axles and make the swaps with hub adapters. Also the adapter sets the wheel out a bit more so I don't rub the body so much and clear the steering linkage. I still needed to trim quite a bit off of the body, but I do have the body sitting at the low setting on the towers. Surprisingly even the light lexan body up high adds to the CG of the truck, so I opt to keep it as low as possible.

I have about 5 sets of Pro Line that use 12mm, and about 4 sets that use 17mm, and then of course I have 5 sets of factory deBoots using 14mm, but they are dying at an alarming rate. Few more weeks and it will be either Pro Line or Duratrax only. I lose a deBoots almost every session.

But I still need a few odd ball lengths of 12mm, so I'm gonna make a few custom sets in the machine shop from 7000 aluminum.

I think the great thing about ARRMA is the various approaches you can take to get to a solutions.
