How does one aquire a trx4m?

Both amain hobbies and traxxas.com says I have to pick one up at a hobby shop, but everytime I think about going to my hobby shop I call them and they always say they are out of stock. Is there a shortage of them? Any other websites to buy one off of?

Few on ebay.. might be the only option.. people are buying them like crazy..

Traxxas sold through the inventory pretty quick, it's probably just random luck on finding one until the next boat arrives. I see Hobbytown is expecting more in early February, so that's probably a clue.
