Infraction I have issues ?

So anyhoo
I may have some parts laying around and there is a lot of DOWN time with ye ol Felonaction…..
So I thought I’d throw a cheap No shiny stuff rig together cause I miss actually being able to run an on road car without something breaking EVERY TIME I touch the throttle
So I grabbed the ol stock Felony chassis tossed it in the dishwasher …
Serviced diffs …
Put the cheap MMX8 esc
1717 1260kv motor combo
On the factory Arrma motor mount
Added Schorched motor mount bolts ,
Schorched top brace …
And that’s it
Not gonna lie my cart was fully of shiny aluminum suspension components but I said to myself…”self, keep it simple”
We listened!!!
I now realize why you guys go with carbon fiber components!
Not only do they look cool as chit .
That Schorched to brace is the frikin Bees knees …
I can NOT get the chassis to flex with that brace on .
I can still flex the JBI chassis (on Felonaction ) with the completely different style T2T brace
But not the old factory Felony chassis with Schorched brace !
That brace is frickin awsome !!!!
I really almost pulled the trigger on IRONMAN RC CARBON GT CHASSIS WITH CENTER BRACE FOR $209 .
Again , had to stop myself
I’ll get this thing running maybe by the weekend so I can drive again….

Just got in
Had couple 4s batts charged
Armed the ESC calibrated it
Turned punch up to 75%
Changed direction of motor rotation and SO FAR now I remember why I like castle motors!!
Havnt ran it yet
During the castle link process I think I may see a setting I changed in the Felonaction that I probably shouldn’t have ….
Throttle curve .
I left it be on castle motor
But I’ll double check the Felonaction TP setup and update that build thread
There is a solid chance I curved the throttle up midway for some reason!!!

What is “THROTTLE DEAD BAND”
It’s default set at “average 0.1000ms
Wouldn’t fella like myself want the dead band “smaller” like say 0.0500 ?
Would that help eliminate a dead spot in throttle?
Also
When running sensor wire on castle motors to I need to change timing?
Also ….
What is
Cheat timing boost
And Cheat activation range ?

Should I leve this throttle curve alone ?

Should “DISABLE DATA LOG FULL WARNING”
Be check marked ?

1/8 in x 2in 3ft length aluminum flat stock $11.99 at the hardware store!!

First one I did fits like glove cause I kinda took my time ….
2nd one I did in about 8 mins …
So little crude around the front step deal
It ain’t carbon !!!
But it was $11.99
Should hold the infraction body in place and prevent debris (some) from flinging up in chassis …
