Such a fun truck!!

They really are. A friend of mine got one a while back and I just saw her killin it the other weekend. I was like ok ok, I gotta have one. Here is a short of what made me recently want one haha.

Picked up a Mojave 6s for $350 on FB marketplace. It was in insanely good shape. Tossed a few upgrades on it then sent it!!!! Super happy with it!!!!

Well, you definitely gave it a proper beating!

Just need to invest in the inner fenders to keep the interior debris free..

Bash on!!

Funny durability side note. It was 37 degrees outside and them plastics didn't give a crap....

@Tex Koder - Yup been eyeballing those!!! I did put my classic screen on both of the fans after making this video though, this also 100% fixes fan issues. Just got this vehicle yesterday lol, forgot to do it during the build video. But its done now!! WooHoo!!

Perfect!

And just a courtesy heads up..
Those two (stock) hex bolts holding the motor mount... They are a problem.
You'll want to replace those in the near future with some hardier M4x20mm Cap screws & washers ,to avoid headaches later.

Yeah not sure why they used button heads there, they always strip out do to the amount of pressure you want/need to use to make sure they don't come lose. Inevitably I swap them out eventually like you said.

haha you think of those like I think of 2mm grub screws in mod1 and smaller pinions. I have moved almost all my models with 5mm motor shafts, that's a lottt of motors :(, to 2.5mm pinion set screws. ESP on my X-Maxx I used to have to strip the 2mm grub screws upon first install just to keep the dang pinion on.... Almost all of my motors with 5mm shafts have been converted to 8mm pinions so they can use 2.5mm set screws now. Limitless/Felony/Outcast/Senton/X-Maxx. If I ever have to pull the Mojave motor it will get the update as well.

Like so: "limitless 4985 Max6, 5mm to 8mm pinion conversion"

My X-maxx has moved above and beyond with guarantied 2.5mm grub screws via mod1.5 gearing lololol..

A few RC's were injured making this video :ROFLMAO:

-Limitless ramped off into the abyss and one side of the batwing got snapped off but is now reprinted. Being installed rn.
-Granite both rear a-arms broken at the hinge pin. Parts on order
-Her Mojave 1 rear lower arm busted at the hinge pin. Parts on order
-My Mojave rear bumper took extensive damage but its all ziptied up now. Body took massive damage but is being repaired rn. It walked away from two batteries of abuse. Def my best basher.
-X-Maxx the rear lower skid got all 4 screws ripped completely out, replaced with M5, good to go.
-Notorious didn't get ran sadly. Just ran out of light. Sunset is like 5:30pm rn.

Completely un-harmed - Typhon and Gorgon!! haha

Unfortunately I started bashing long before I started recording so all the X-Maxx and half of my Mojave jumps were missed :( Being the camera man and the stunt man isnt the easiest hahaha.

Created some plates that go over the skids. Being your skid gets shaved down, these provide extra protection for the screws that will inevitably get ripped out when you ramp like a crazed mad man. I am creating these for my X-Maxx as well, it has the same issue.

Now as they wear out, print and replace for pennies!!

It's kinda fun ironing out the issues of hitting a ramp at 50mph :ROFLMAO:

Next issue. This may help a few people as this will work on any of the 6s line, noto/kraton/limitless/mojave/etc. Rear Chassis Brace mount, found it snapped off, probably happened a long time ago. Done now!!!

Made without needing those fiddly spacers.

Again all files free and on my thingiverse.

If youre not into 3d printing. Understand that the direction in which you put layers down makes 100% all the difference in strength. These layers are going side to side in this chassis brace mount, not up and down in positioning of the force that will be impacted. Example is the X-Maxx front bumper that I made that's nearly indestructible. It's taken countless full power hits, I have reprinted it once do to it getting shaved down from sliding on the asphalt.

If you make PLA thick and make your layers in the right direction, good lord, it's strong.

So...... 1 more big issue, The rear bumper of the Mojave.... Designed ok, but not meant for significant abuse. Lets make it BEEFY!!!

I have plastic welded it back together, as seen below, now lets make plates that make it seriously strong, If this works out correctly instead of having like 50 different break points we will condense it all down to just two. Then I will make those two into a printable bracket that is easily printed and replaced at anytime.

Just did some Mojave pavement bashing with a buddy. Stock tires, stock ESC and Max6 motor. ESC stays in also long as it lasts, me thinks. Love the tires. Not too grippy to make the truck roll over all the time. Now when cold you can really spin around nicely at speed. Also love how long the tires last on the Mojave.

There really is something to mashing the throttle on a 6s Mojave on pavement. It peels and rips off and the leaning it does. Hilarious and honestly loud and brutal!!

Yeah them tires are good. haven't had a single one come unglued or blowout yet either. The foams really seem firm and like they fill the tire completely. I feel like the tire itself is thicker rubber then usual as well.

Got the X-Maxx skids made and mounted. YaY no more rippin bolts out of the bulkheads. Upgraded to M5 bolts in the rear.

Now on to the Mojave rear bumper reinforcements (y)

Ok one plate down. Print it, heat it till the whole thing is like rubber and mash it on where you want it hahahhaha. Worked like a charm.
