Hi guys !
Have a problem here, my senton‘s shocks are leaking after about 10 packs
I found that hot racing makes shock bodies that will be compatible with my existing shock
Do you guys think that these would be a good investment?
Also what wt shock oil would you guys recommend? I don’t do huge jumps just normal driving on a bumpy dirt road and snow
BTW I’m a 13 yr old and new to this hobby

The bodies aren’t the cause of the leaks, but the threaded bodies are a nice upgrade. If you just want to fix the leaks, get new orings and some green slime.

Yes it's a good investment for the money... if using the hr bodies I would go 30-40wt...

Stock plastic bodies (if you choose to rebuild them) go with anything from 60wt-80wt... 80wt if jumping it

you coat the orings with the green slime.
Associated makes the stuff. There are also other companies that make it.
I use some made by muchmore racing that has worked for me.

ive even let orings soak in shock oil for a while while I build shocks, and then dry them off and coat them with the slime.

My thought process was that they might soak up some of that shock oil, who know though, hah.
