Just get the Hot Racing bodies and rebuild using the factory guts... I see this as a common solution from other people. I also heard, but don't know for sure myself, that a traxxas big bore set fits... my LHS guy is verifying if that will work.

I would hope that upgrading the worst part on the vehicle with a good one over the factory supplied would be a priority.
