Used on rod ends for Traxxas E-Revo 2.0 (Theres a design flaw) and Kraton 8s
Metal balls ( Alum or Steel ) wearing directly onto an Aluminum link is going to be VERY short lived before egging/ opening up.
While alloy parts look great, in areas where there is actual pivoting motion, dirt ingress etc ... most OEM Nylon ball ends on Steel balls provide the most durability in not only wear but withstanding bending and fracture stresses.
Just opinion based on experience ....
