Big Rock Missing half of Big rock drive shaft brace- replacement necessary?

So while removing my engine I broke off half of my drive shaft brace. The other side still holds the bearing in place.

Wondering if I need to replace whole brace or if this is driveable without further repercussion?

I'd replace it.. keeps the shaft from slapping the motor and/or esc, get the aluminum one!

What he said ...buy a few it will happen again.ive already replaced mine several times . aluminum ones are better for durability

I was going to suggest that but at $5 for the assembly, I’d buy it instead unless the guy is hard up.

No I don't. However I did manage to break the 3d printed engine brace I was trying to put on in the process of breaking the shaft brace.

Slight silver lining, I finally pulled my first rc engine.
