Mojave Mojave SC scale wheels and tyres! What are the options?

Despite the price ? I've ordered the Mojave EXB (whoopsie) and I've been looking at similar sized short course wheels and tyres that I can try with it, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of choices. So far, the ones that have caught my eye are Pro-Line's rock crawling/racing tyres. However, I don't know if they're suitable for SC and what wheels to mount them on ?‍

The most obvious pick are these Hyrax SC tyres specifically for the UDR. Are these mounted with glue or bead lock? Are there 17mm wheels that can fit these to the Mojave?

I also like the look of these BFGoodrich tyres BUT they are for rock crawling and I have no idea if they're suitable for SC, nor which wheels/mounting method to use

Do you already figured out which wheels fit the UDR Hyrax.. I was researching myself but it looks like that the UDR wheel is not a standard 2,2/3,0" - or am I wrong?

Hyrax 2.2/3.0's are what you want. Digital design fab makes some nice aluminum rims. I started to put a set on my lasernut but pulled them to put on my Mojave build. Not my Mojave but you get the idea.

The Standard Hyrax 2.2/3.0" are a lot smaller then the UDR Hyrax and the orginal Mojave tires:

So I'm guessing they will mount with glue to the Raid tyres I posted above in the OP. However, as @elschizo said they are smaller than the stock tyres. Are the tyres in the pictures of the Mojave you posted 2.2/3.0 SCXLs, or the UDR version? (Considering they're on alloy wheels I reckon they are for the UDR)

Also - the wheels you used look amazing. Do you have a part number?

The ones i used were for the UDR, i believe that is the same as what the guy in the mojave pics used as well. They may not be as tall but a little wider if i read the comparison up top right. These wheels are a little cheaper than the vitavon ones but aren't beadlock. I'll try them out on my mojave build once i get it all together. I still need to order all the parts hahahaha.

If it's 2.2 front and back it won't clear the hubs.

Yeah that's why i went ddf, but had to buy 5 to have the spare for my lasernut. They were way shorter so i pulled them back off. I want my rock racer to be able to drive over the roughest terrain it can.
